Superior Machine Co. of S.C., Inc. (Superior) exhibited and presented technical papers at the AIST Association for Iron & Steel Technology trade show May 5 thru 7, 2009, in St. Louis. Missouri.

Attendance was down significantly relative to the AIST 2008 show held in Pittsburgh, Pa. due to the recent industry decline.  However, Superior expanded its booth size this year to improve customer and supplier hosting and staffed it with its technically experienced sales staff to present the Superior Solutions theme, depicting their turnkey capabilities.

Cass Kurzinski presented a technical paper on SMART MOLD technology for continuous casting and Birgit Hanafin-Brotzmann of Innovative Technologies, daughter of Dr. Karl Brotzmann, patent holder of various steel making processes, presented a technical paper on the JET PROCESS.

ITAG, Innovative Technologies of Munich, Germany, a technology alliance partner to Superior, was in attendance throughout the show.
