Superior Machine Co. of S.C., Inc. (Superior) announces the expansion of its technical capabilities by opening an office for both engineering and administration in Georgetown, S.C. 

President and C.E.O., Kent Carraway, announced today that the company is expanding its technical resources by opening an office to house additional engineering resources needed to meet the growing demands of their business, particularly within the steel industry.   

Superior currently has design engineering offices at its Florence, S.C. headquarters.  However, Mr. Carraway noted, “We chose to expand in Georgetown for a variety of reasons.  Georgetown is a well known steelmaking town.  It is close in proximity to our Florence operations,  there is engineering talent in the area and the Georgetown area offers very good attributes for recruiting over the long term.”  He also noted, “technology today,  facilitates engineering type work to be performed virtually anywhere.”

Superior Machine Company of SC, Inc. is a privately held company with facilities throughout the U.S.  Superior serves the steel and aggregate industries with engineering, fabrication, machining and field services.
